“I am passionate about supporting organisations to become places where each person feels that they belong and that they have the power to make a real difference through their contribution.”
Laura is highly skilled at equipping leaders with mindsets, skills, and capacities that enable them to create workplaces of the future, where team members from all walks of life feel welcome, capable, excited, and able to bring their whole selves to work. Her expertise is fuelled by her passionate advocacy for making diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, “business as usual” within organisations.
Laura also has a nuanced understanding of high-performance teams, self-leadership, leading effective teams, and team cohesion, which is underpinned by her experience as an elite team athlete. Coupled with her deep insights into organisational psychology and psychological science, she can quickly build relationships to have a positive impact across a diverse range of organisations and their leaders.
At PF, Laura leads one of our longest-running most successful leadership development initiatives in local government, where she supercharges leadership capability across the system and uses a strengths-based approach to help get the best out of people.
Laura grew up in Toowoomba and was a serving member of the Queensland Firebirds netball team from 2013-2019. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Master of Organisational Psychology and is accredited as a Clifton Strengths coach.
