Today Sydney Morning Herald acknowledged Woolworths Group for their transformation into a dynamic retail ecosystem.

This transformation means a lot to us.

We’ve been privileged to work in partnership with Woolies leaders and teams across the system in this all-in cultural evolution. The drive and buoyancy of their people must be recognised. It’s been an exciting journey, and the story is still unfolding.

As Stephen Bartholomeusz writes, “There is an experimental, “brainstorming on a whiteboard” element to it but its success or failure won’t lie as much in the strategy itself… but in its execution. That will require elements of creativity and flexibility and entrepreneurialism that aren’t necessarily found within large companies.”
